No
more demos

When
are you guys gonna put out another demo?
We heard that question constantly, and for a good reason. Our
first demo was recorded and mastered in our good friend Mike Nazari's
apartment. Only 75 copies were made, we sent them out to local
clubs, and handed them out at shows. We actually got noticed by
the Culture Room from that demo so it did us some good. However
our friends and fans complained that the vocals were too loud,
and that overall the recording sounded 'thin'.
In
the spring of 2004 we began recording a new demo for Drive Thru
Records at Good Acid Studios with Rusty. We completed 3 songs
there, Acid Moon, Buried Alive, &
Green Lights. We posted the songs
on our web site for awhile but never pressed them to CD. We decided
to take another path. No more demos.
Drew
from Sense Of Being told us about Marc Karmatz at Insane Sounds,
and played us a rough mix of their latest music recorded there.
It took 10 seconds of listening to the CD for us to decide where
to go. Marc has done a wonderful job, and we are impressed with
every aspect. It's slow going, but we are not recording a demo
here, this is our first full length LP album. We are also independent,
so the band is paying for the all of recording & mastering
costs.
That
said we can't wait to release the album. Finally we will have
something we are proud of to present to our fans.
