About the band:
Osiris Rising was an innovative alternative metal band that met its tragic end far too soon.
The band is best known for their 2005 debut album Diluting The Gene Pool, which received airplay in Europe & Middle East following the death of their lead guitar player in 2006. Osiris Rising was known for changing genre (style) from song to song, and for their volatile, often inebriated live performances. 23 year old guitar player Joseph Robert Arthur died in a car accident just weeks after the band had begun pursuing a record deal with Atlantic Records early in 2006, leaving the band without its creative force and primary songwriter.
